Funny Dog Tease Video

Heeheeheeeeee!!! Nothing like a good laugh to start out the morning!  We have five dogs, and apparently I carry on conversations with them where I use a different voice for their responses. Apparently I even use voices with an accent, what's up with that? I don't even know any accents!

I don't think any of our dogs are Spanish or French, but then I guess I don't know for sure.  Maybe in a past life, who knows.   Actually, the accent I use is probably of no particular origin, maybe it's an accent with Dogland origins...  Or Muttvania....Or Puppydelphia.....Or Poochawotami...  lol   Oh man, sometimes I amuse myself.

This is a totally subconscious thing I do with them.  Someone pointed it out to me awhile back, and I thought "Huh, I really need to get out amongst the humans a little more, ya think?"  I don't know, I have a tendency to like my make believe world here in Laurie Land, although a little more human contact might not be horrible.

This weekend I'm going out in public, so that should satisfy the human contact thing for awhile.   It's our annual May Fine Arts Festival Artrageous Parade, so there will be plenty of bizarre make believe stuff going on, so maybe it won't be too much of a culture shock. For being so small, this town is a very colorful place with lots of action! We're frequently in the news for one bizarre thing or another. Anyway, if I remember, I'll take pictures and do a post about the parade.

Well I'm off to mow the lawn before the next rain comes in this afternoon.  The grass  has reached about 10" high, which should be loads of fun with my untrusty pushmower..

Have a good one!

Laurie

  1. Haha that video is epic! LOVE IT! I talk to animals, too... as if they're human... I never even really noticed until a friend pointed it out as if it was weird, and I thought, "Huh, I guess everyone DOESN'T talk to their chickens. Weird..." LOL

Anyway, bah humbug to human contact. Just stay on Blogger and chat with us! We're human... or maybe we're just weird cyberbots PRETENDING to be human. Ya never know. ;D

  2. Lol~ what a great video! I'm thinking that maybe those who don't talk to their pets are the weird ones! ;) I mean, someday, they just might talk back, and then who'd be laughing!

I'm not one to criticize you for lack of human contact... I just left the house to visit a friend yesterday for probably the first time in months! I prefer my own company, the company of my girls and yes, even Willie much better than most human contact. I'm not sure what that says about me, but I'm pretty sure in one of my last lives I was the crazy hermit that lived in the middle of the woods with only her goat for company! I must add in that my new blogger friends round out my life quite nicely! :)

  4. I love the video!

I also do voices for all my animals, and so do all my friends! I'm beginning to think it's a perfectly normal thing to do :) I prefer sitting home with my animals to mingling with most people any day... since starting school and quitting my job I definitely am around animals more than humans.. no complaints here!

The parade sounds fun... I hope you take a few pictures so we can see! Have fun!

  5. Well I'm relieved that in this aspect I'm not the only "weirdo" around! You're right girls, I'm thinking that the people who don't do voices for their animals are the weird ones, not us!

Tay, now don't be messing with my head like that! Unhuman cyberbots, one of my biggest fears! lol

Melinda, I like having bloggy friends, too. It's different, but I like it! Crazy hermit in the woods with only a goat as a companion, hehee, that's funny! Did you know I lived on the other side of the mountain with only a goat for a companion? lol

Hey Sara, I think certain types of people flock together! The parade should be fun, our parades are always strange! I'll take pics unless I forget the camera which is always a possibility in my befuddled "going into town" state of mind!

  7. Lol~ I'm waiting for the video to load while I write this (is it Blog, or my computer that is taking awhile with videos??) but, I understand about the accent thing xD When I'm being funny (well… trying to be funny) or weird, I can't NOT use an accent!! Hehe- it’s habbit or something. & when I make an animal talk- I usually make it talk with an accent... Is that normal, you think?? Hehe, oh well, I'm not normal anyway ;)

Gonna go try to watch the video now! :)
    xoxo
